2010 Conference fees have been substantially reduced in order to facilitate member's attendance at the conference.

Bursaries:
HSLG will offer 10 Bursaries to support members to attend the full conference, including accommodation. Please use the bursary application form and be familiar with the relevant policy. details are here http://www.hslg.ie/bursary
In addition, we are offering a full bursary from each of our sponsors. Members must apply for the bursary no later than Friday 29 January 2010 at 17.00

Call for Presentations:
In addition to invited speakers, we are inviting Irish Health Librarians and Information Professionals to consider doing an informal ‘speed presentation’ on a new or innovative aspect of your work or your information service.
The idea is that you make your presentation in a maximum of 8 minutes (!) and using only 2 PowerPoint slides. (presentations will be strictly timed).
Yes, it is a challenge, but one that we are all capable of achieving.
What you should try to include:
• What you did
• Why you developed the service /innovation
• What have been the outcomes/ what have you learned
• What do you plan for the future
We have space for 8 speakers, but could accommodate more if there is a demand.

Don’t be shy, use this as an opportunity to help prepare a poster or paper for future conferences, and as a marketing opportunity for your library and information service.
