21st January 2010 Getting the most out of Pubmed

As you all know the Pubmed interface has changed, with a stronger focus Pubmed Tools & Resources. If you need to keep up to date or need to find out more about this key resource, then this course is for you.

Venue: South Training Room, Berkeley Library, Trinity College Dublin

Cost: **This course is offered at a significantly reduced rate due to the current economic climate:** HSLG/LAI Members: €100, Non-Members: €150, Unemployed/Students: €80

Trainer: Dr. Bríd McGrath - Dr. Bríd McGrath has worked as a Library and Information Consultant since 1987. While she does a wide range of work ( advising organisations on managing their information, designing and conducting training courses, facilitating meetings and conducting research) she specialises in health and social services information. She was the first Health Board librarian in Ireland; she lectures on the M.Sc. in Applied Social Research in Trinity College Dublin and formerly lectured in the U.C.D. Department of Library and Information Studies. Bríd's training style is very open, encouraging, practical and facilitative. She particularly enjoys working with librarians in developing their skills.
