Elsevier Upgrades ScienceDirect - From [Info Today]
Elsevier has announced that it will be launching some improvements to its ScienceDirect service (www.sciencedirect.com), which provides access to the publisher’s STM full-text journals and ebooks. The changes will include navigational improvements in screen layout, four options for filtering existing search results, and access to article comments, ratings, and social bookmarking options supplied by Elsevier’s free 2collab service (www.2collab.com). Some of the changes went into effect this week; the rest should appear shortly.

This year's HSLG conference covers the themes of quality and innovation in healthcare libraries. For the first time HSLG is inviting health librarians to make a poster submission on the subject of quality or innovation for display during the conference. Posters will be on display in the main conference hall (Clanmacnoise Suite) for the duration of the conference and contributors are asked to stand next to their poster during the tea/coffee break on the morning of Wednesday 20th February in order to answer questions about their poster.
